Opal Engagement Ring
Opal Engagement Ring
Repurposed Opal and Diamond family heirloom
Brad wanted to design a special Engagement ring for his love Alle. Alle is an architect with a passion for design so she was heavily involved in the creative process with Sam. Brad proposed to Alle using a token ring, a classic silver engagement band, which was provided by Sam for his box moment. When their engagement was announced Brad’s granny gifted them with a family opal and diamond ring which they wished to incorporate. Alle provided Sam with some ideas of the design she wanted and they discussed it in great detail. From there Sam gave her a few options in the platinum and gold she wanted. The family ring also provided enough diamonds for the wedding band. This project started off as an Engagement ring design. However, since the extra materials had been provided by the family ring, Sam was able to make the wedding bands at the same time which was a really lovely project for Sam Alle and Brad.
Materials: 18ct Yellow Gold, Opal stone and brilliant cut diamonds.
