As well as creating bespoke collections for SAM HAM Jewellery Design, Sam also works as a freelance consultant for a number of independent and luxury brands based in London.

Sam has consulted with a number of different independent and luxury brands such as Alfred Dunhill Ltd, Links of London and Motley London. She has worked through and advised on product categories including: keyfobs, tiebars, ring, necklaces, engagement rings, earrings, charms, cufflinks, barware and small leather goods.

Process

She offers proactive energetic expertise on all commissions. Sam works through the whole design process including:

  • Initial concepts

  • Mood boards

  • Trend analysis 

  • Hand sketches

  • Preliminary CAD models

  • Final representation renders

  • 3D printed models

  • Final CAD models for manufacturing and metal prototyping

Results

She can then help you create 3D printed prototypes before making your final design in precious metals. From there Sam can advise you on the best methods of manufacture from making one-off artisanal pieces to batch orders to mass production.
