Emerald and Yellow Gold ‘Push’ Ring

Henry came to Sam because he wanted to create a bespoke ring for his wife Meg, who was expecting their first child. Meg told Henry she would like it to be based on a traditional push ring, an eternity ring, which are typically covered in diamonds. However, Meg wanted a break from tradition and specified she would love emeralds. Henry told Sam that they were open to seeing other, less traditional options. Sam got to work and put together lots of different designs for Henry to look at. One idea was to give the ring a more contemporary twist by playing around with stone sizes, she was particularly attracted to the idea of having a “mummy” stone and “baby” stone. Short, sweet and to the point. Henry felt similarly. The final ring was made of 18ct yellow gold with two emeralds set in a 3-prong setting. The ring was delivered to Henry’s office a week before the baby was born and he surprised Meg in the hospital with her ring.
